Exclusive Video Interview: Bryan Singer on Superman, Logan's Run, the X-Men and Star Trek!?
Author: Robert Sanchez

I first want to start with apologizing to our readers, we here at the IESB have been very busy working on a few different projects including a feature film. We haven't been posting news on a daily basis as we normally do and have not been responding to all the emails but we are almost 100% back by this weekend.

Stephanie is currently on the set of X-Men 3 and Pathfinder up in Vancouver and we just got back from covering the premiere of the Sci Fi Channels' new mini series The Triangle.

Bryan Singer wasn't available during the Triangle press day a few days ago but he did make it last night for interviews on the red carpet.

Bryan, who his colleagues like to refer to as the Spielberg of our generation, has been very busy as of late. With X-Men he was able to kick start the current comic book movie genre and next year we get to see his newest comic book film adaptation Superman Returns.

As a special treat to our readers and viewers we have an exclusive video interview with director, producer and writer Bryan Singer.

So what do you ask Bryan in a five minute interview? Simply everything. From Superman to Logan's Run to Star Trek and one specific question that I have been wanting to ask Bryan for a while, will he ever direct another Marvel comic book movie and would he like to return to the X-Men franchise.

It was a big let down when comic book fans found out that Bryan would not be directing the third installment of X-Men but to our surprise he did not rule out the possibility of returning to that familiar franchise, as he stated " You never know....I miss all those guys."

Something that might surprise some movie fans is that Bryan admitted he would have some interest in directing a Star Trek movie. It's no surprise Bryan is very open about his love for Trek including being very proud of his cameo in the last of the Star Trek films Nemesis.

If anyone at Paramount is reading this you just have found the salvation to your cash cow that is now lying dormant. Bryan Singer is the man that can resurrect Trek. Bryan has the idea and as he puts it "it's very big."
