Rick McCallum, producer of the Star Wars prequels, including the upcoming Star Wars: Episode III, will be on stage to chat with fans during Lucasfilm's Star Wars Spectacular on Saturday, July 24. McCallum will take a break from prepping the additional photography phase and will be flying in from London to San Diego to field questions from the Comic-Con International audience.

The Star Wars presentation, hosted by Lucasfilm's Steve Sansweet, is scheduled for 12 noon in Hall H. The annual presentation has become a Comic-Con International tradition. Fans have come to anticipate exclusive peeks and inside information into what's new in Star Wars. This year's presentation will be extra-special with guest McCallum.

"Rick is always a treat to have on stage," says Sansweet. "The fans love him, and he truly appreciates the fan community. And you just never know what Rick might say, which is part of the fun!"

Sansweet and Lucasfilm Vice President of Marketing Jim Ward also will share a look into the coming original trilogy DVD, scheduled for release September 21. There's also lots of other Star Wars news, including the latest on new games from LucasArts. And you never know: Other surprises and special guests could turn up, too!
