There's quite a bit of excitement revolving around the next Batman film. If it does well it will greenlight plenty of other DC Comics film adaptations. If it fails to deliver it will delay any other DC film projects for the immediate future. There's plenty of star power in the next Batman film and early buzz is that it will indeed redeem this comic book franchise.

Morgan Freeman is only one the few big names that will co-star with Christian Bale in Batman Begins. We were able to get a few soundbites with Freeman at the Polar Express premiere where he told us that he believed Bale will make an excellent Batman. When asked if this film will set a much darker tone than the previous he simply stated that he did not know since he has not seen the film.

Freeman plays Lucius Fox who is the person responsible for making Bruce Wayne all his expensive and deadly "Bat toys". To our surprise Freeman revealed that his part in the film is somewhat minor and will have only two scenes. Click here for a quick video interview with Morgan Freeman (WMV File).

Batman Begins opens June 17, 2005.
