Even though he has been acting for over 20 years in classic movies such as The Lost Boys, Young Guns, The Three Musketeers, A Time To Kill and L.A. Confidential, he has never been any hotter in Hollywood as he is now.
24 is one the best shows on TV and Jack Bauer is his best work to date. We get to see him on the big screen as David Breckinridge in The Sentinel.
Kiefer's character is a secret service agent that has to stop an assassination attempt on the president and the main suspect is none other than his old partner, Agent Pete Garrison, played by legendary actor Michael Douglas.
The IESB had the chance to sit down with Kiefer to discuss The Sentinel and also briefly about the long awaited 24 movie.
While some may think that his work on 24 would prepare him to take on Agent Breckinridge, think again. Kiefer and cast had to go through additional training by an actual real life retired secret service agent to make sure that even the smallest of the details such as closing or opening the door on a presidential limousine would be accurate.
Kiefer also gave us a few quick tidbits on what we can expect on the 24 movie. For one, shooting will hopefully start during the next hiatus and that the movie will co-exist with the TV show even though the movie would not be in real time. You can also see film clips, a featurette and an inside look into the Sentinel here.
Stay tuned to the IESB for further updates!
