Exclusive Video Interview: Fox Head Tom Rothman Confirms Wolverine to be a Prequel

I was a bit under the weather today and was unable to attend the premiere of Ice Age 2: The Meltdown that was held on a snow covered Hollywood Blvd, thats right snow in Los Angeles. So I sent the next best thing, my 10 year old stepdaughter Alyson.

She has covered a few red carpets for us before like Lemony Snickets, Aquamarine and Yours, Mine and Ours. Not only can Alyson hold her own on a red carpet, at the Ice Age 2 premiere she asked Fox Head, Tom Rothman, some tough questions!

With the second AVP on it's way and also X-Men and Fantastic Four, why does Mr. Rothman as a studio head feel it is important to make these "genre" films? He said that they are great films to make because they are big hits, but also they are films that he likes. He says he loved comic books as a kid and he loves comic book movies now.

Also, Hugh Jackman recently alluded that the Wolverine spin off film may be a prequel, how accurate is that? Although he says he will get in trouble if he tells, just between him and her, yes it's a prequel, and that's a scoop!
