On the other hand this Christmas Special is so far out there it’s not really watchable.
While I can appreciate what they were going for, which I have to assume was Bing Crosby on mushrooms it just doesn’t work out well in the execution. This thing wanders from guest to guest and song to song with about as much enthusiasm as a fat guy going out to play full court basketball after Christmas dinner.
Perhaps that was the point, this is meant to be watched as the tryptophan really kicks into your blood stream. It’s not like it’s just not funny, for the most part it’s not bad jokes there’s just no jokes. Though I have to say I laughed my ass off watching Santa have a knife fight with a Bear so when they have a joke it is funny. I just didn’t realize conservative comedy meant conserving the number of jokes.
