For some of you that's a "no duh!" thing to read, you know you've been with it for three seasons and have been bathing in it's awesome-ness. For me it's like arriving late at a kick ass party and finding that I'm so lucky the beer is still cold and all the good looking slutty chicks have gotten drunk and decided to have a jello wrestling contest (that happens right?) in the back yard…I’m thinking best of 3 round robin.
So basically yes, I jumped on the Sunny party bus late and now I am hooked. And yes I’ll be taking a run to hunt down that Season 1 &2 set later this weekend.
Now I’m not living under a rock, I’d heard the show was a bit nuts and all that but I just couldn’t buy the tagline of “It's Seinfeld on crack.” Lots of shows and even individual people can make that claim. So I popped this set in hoping to just get a laugh or two out of it and be able to give it a passing score. But from the first episode about finding a baby in the dumpster I knew I was going to be hooked….and wow am I.
If you like your humor dripping in scumbagery (a new word feel free to use it) and just vile and chaotic then this is your show.
Overall: Take your funny bone off autopilot from all that other formula crap and head to Philly.
