Seems every comedian gets into the game and once they make a name for themselves they find themselves pitching a multiude of TV shows and movies throwing it all out there hoping something will stick and they'll be the next big thing. I could be wrong but if you go to IMDB the biggest scoop you can find is that his Favorite cookie is Fig Newtons (HA HA!! Not really a cookie! I get it!).
I have a ton of respect for the guy for avoiding that trap, maybe he's tried and failed but I kinda doubt that. I think the guy just loves what he does best and doesn't need the hassle of trying to launch a TV or Film career he doesn't really want.
Brian is one of those guys you could see being both the life of the party one minute and standing in a corner just hanging out the next. Thankfully someone at some point got him to take the stage and share the funny.
It's kind of hard to review stand up, I mean what I find funny can really vary from what others find funny, if you already loved the guy I'm just rambling, if you hated him it's not likley to change either. For fans this is another great DVD worth checking out, for people who don't know Brian Regan I would suggest starting with I Walked On The Moon (see link below) and enjoy from there.
