- Blooper Reel Version: Standard Review: How many shows make it to an eighth (and final) season? Not that many…even less get a second season on FOX (HA!) now how many of those can really stick out the formula and still be great nearly a decade in? Very very few.
Point is that every show has to evolve to survive. More drama gets added, maybe new cast members, tragedy, new job, new city, odds are a baby or new kid will be added at some point down the line in some last ditch effort to avoid jumping the shark. Sadly for me Home Improvement never even got on the bike much less had a shark to jump. I never got the humor it was going for, sorry I might live in a hick town but I don’t get black and decker jokes and only so many shop mishaps are going to keep me coming back (I’m a geek remember?) but for those people that did watch the show season seven is not so much a far cry from the style and plot lines of the six season before it. So you completists out there won’t be disappointed by picking this up and adding on the shelf next to the rest of the show. Buy It Now: Rating:
