As a kid I loved spending time in Hazzard county watching these redneck goofballs jumping creek beds and out running the cops while shooting arrows loaded with TNT and stopping the bad guys.
Even as a kid though I never understood why the cops never just gave up chasing these guys and just head out to Uncle Jesse's place and wait for em. Not like these guys have a Bat Cave.
Much like CHiPs as the seasons went on the silly things got....unless oh wait...is this what life is really like in the sticks? I'd ask someone to e-mail me and let me know ut lets face it even the Hazzard Boys aren't finding the a ramp to jump the information super highway.
The two movies on this collection take us back to hang with the boys both at home and in the scary land of Hollywierd. While it's clear both movies are a bit different from the show both in production value and overall tone they are pretty decent for fans of the show.
However the show hasn't aged all that well and unlike ChiPs can't be watched for the insane plots and giggles. So if you are looking for some classic Duke Boys stick to the season box sets. Some extra features would have been nice as well.
Overall: A solid pick up for fans of the show, a quick visit for others.
On a huge plus side: NO JESSICA SIMPSON Buy It Now: Rating:
