Think You Know Who The Last Cylon Is? Care To Place A Wager On That? Now You Can.
Like any good fan, you've wondered, you've speculated, you've had many a sleepless night wondering what would happen when Battlestar reaches the end of it's run.
Ok, maybe you haven't. Perhaps you are too busy trying to figure out those 42 questions you have about every episode of LOST...which is to say the least frustrating and time consuming.
The good news in either case is that now we have some betting style odds to grasp your mind around and a chance to make some cash perhaps.
Never Tell Me The Odds...wait wrong universe...ok tell me the odds:
Aaron Kelly: 5-4
Diana "Hardball" Seelix: 33-20
Tom Zarek: 23-20
Anastasia Dualla: 4-5
Felix Gaeta: 3-2
Brendan "Hot Dog" Costanza: 2-1
Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson: 9-4
The field (any other character): 2-7
(These are the odds given to Wired by BetCRIS's operators; if you go to the site and check under the Entertainment heading, you'll see only the money line for placing a Cylon bet.)
Some of the selected choices are a bit surprising to some due their low importance level so far as characters go, but BSG does tend to pull new characters from the background and make them of importance so you never know. Given some of the things that have been slipped out before season 4 started it?s largely assumed that none of the "human" characters featured in the ?Last Supper? picture (See Below) are the last Cylon model.
Take a look at the stats for the contenders, the known Cylon models, four of the final five, and choose your bets wisely.
Captain Aaron Kelly: Odds - 5-4
Captain Aaron Kelly is possibly third-in-command aboard Galactica, ranking behind Admiral William Adama and Colonel Saul Tigh; his standing in relation to Major Lee Adama in the chain of command is unclear. As the LSO (Landing Signal Officer), he is responsible for flight operations - launching and landing spacecraft - on the ship.
Diana "Hardball" Seelix: Odds - 33-20
Diana "Hardball" Seelix is a Viper qualified pilot aboard Galactica and was previously a deckhand under Chief Galen Tyrol.
She becomes a capable Viper pilot, successfully destroying a missile meant for Colonial One during the Battle of the Ionian Nebula, and is known by her callsign, "Hardball" (He That Believeth In Me). Seelix is part of the Demetrius's crew on its mission to find Earth (The Ties That Bind). There she becomes involved in the mutiny against Kara Thrace, revealing her belief that Thrace is a Cylon and should be airlocked (Faith).
Birth Name: Diana Seelix
Callsign: Hardball
Introduced: Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I
Marital Status: Single
Role: Pilot-in-training, battlestar Galactica
Rank: Ensign
Tom Zarek: Odds - 23-20
Tom Zarek was a political activist for more than 30 years before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies. He is a charismatic, eloquent and ideological political agitator who was incarcerated for destroying a government building on Sagittaron.
Though some consider him a terrorist for his often violent tactics (which include the destruction of a government building that results in unspecified casualties), others see him as a freedom fighter and a hero.
Colony: Sagittaron
Birth Name: Thomas Zarek
Introduced: Bastille Day
Marital Status: Single
Role: Vice President of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol
Former representative of Sagittaron on the Quorum of Twelve
Anastasia Dualla: Odds - 4-5
Anastasia Dualla is the former Communications Officer of Galactica and was the Executive Officer of the battlestar Pegasus prior to its destruction. At one time she was married to Lee Adama.
Colony: Sagittaron
Birth Name: Anastasia Dualla
Nickname: Dee
Introduced: Miniseries
Marital Status: Separated from Lee Adama
(Dated Billy Keikeya)
Role: CIC officer on Galactica
Rank: Lieutenant, junior grade
Lieutenant Felix Gaeta: Odds - 3-2
Lieutenant Felix Gaeta ("gay-tah") is a young, capable officer in the Colonial military. For the three years prior to the Cylon attack on the Twelve Colonies, he has served as William Adama's Senior Officer of the Watch aboard Galactica.
Birth Name: Felix Gaeta
Introduced: Miniseries
Role: Tactical Officer, Senior Officer of the Watch, CIC, battlestar Galactica, former aide to President Gaius Baltar
Rank: Lieutenant
Lieutenant Brendan "Hot Dog" Costanza: Odds - 2-1
Lieutenant Brendan "Hot Dog" Costanza is a Viper pilot on Galactica, and is the only known survivor among the initial batch of Viper pilots recruited from the Fleet's civilians. He initially acts more experienced than he really is, but grows to become one of Galactica's seasoned veteran pilots.
Birth Name: Brendan Costanza
Callsign: Hot Dog
Introduced: Act of Contrition
Marital Status: Single
Role: Viper pilot, battlestar Galactica
Rank: Lieutenant, junior grade
Lt. Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson: Odds - 9-4
Lt. Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson is a female Raptor pilot aboard Galactica. She harbors a deep hatred of the Cylons, almost certainly because of the loss of loved ones during the Fall of the Twelve Colonies. In her job she is competent and trusted, although she is willing to put her personal beliefs above duty. Racetrack tends to have a dark, fairly cynical attitude after the Cylon attack.
Birth Name: Margaret Edmondson
Callsign: Racetrack
Introduced: Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II
Role: Raptor pilot and ECO, assigned to Galactica
Rank: Lieutenant
The field (any other character Aka The Pussy Bet): Odds - 2-7
Couldn?t handle the odds huh? That?s ok I have some picks that aren?t listed either.
There you have list from the odds makers, the stats from the show, now before you place those bets take a look at the Cylons we know, how they are, where they were, and what they do.
The Known Cylons:
"Number One" is a humanoid Cylon who, prior to being discovered, posed as Brother Cavil, a member of the Colonial clergy. However, contrary to his assumed role, he doesn't share the other Cylons' religious beliefs and frequently mocks them.
Human Name: Cavil
Cylon Model Number: One
Introduced: Lay Down Your Burdens, Part I
Role: Cylon infiltrator, lay clergy
"Number Two", better known as Leoben Conoy, is a humanoid Cylon first encountered at Ragnar Anchorage. He fancies himself as a prophet with predilections for enlightened monotheistic religious dogma, whereas he is more likely to sow the seeds of doubt or mis-information, weaving lies in the fabric of truth and faith.
Human Name:Leoben Conoy
Introduced: Miniseries, Night 2
Role: Cylon infilitrator, Prophet / misinformant
"Number Three" is a model of humanoid Cylon, female, brunette and marked by a religious curiosity which sets her against the other Cylon models. The model was first encountered as an infiltrator in the Fleet under the alias "D'Anna Biers" posing as a reporter for the Fleet News Service.
Human Name: D'Anna Biers
Introduced: Final Cut
Death: All copies boxed (Rapture)
Role: Cylon Infiltrator/Journalist
"Number Four" is first encountered by Kara Thrace on Cylon-occupied Caprica. Posing as a doctor, this Simon is actually involved with the Cylon hybridization program. Simon resembles a tall, somewhat thin middle-aged black man who speaks in a comforting strong voice (The Farm) Unlike other models, Simon does not seem to have many military aspects to his physical or mental configuration, and is easily overcome by a wounded Thrace. Simon may be a model based primarily on human intellectualism and logic[16]. It is unknown if a Simon model infiltrated the Fleet prior to the occupation of New Caprica. In any case, the model is now known to the general populace, many humans likely saw a Simon model during the occupation.
Human Name: Simon
Introduced: The Farm
Role: Cylon doctor / scientist
"Number Five", known to the humans as Aaron Doral, appears to be a man in his mid-thirties. He is initially encountered aboard Galactica, where he is operating as a public relations executive. Later he is active both within the fleeing Colonial fleet and on Caprica. He seems designed to network, almost to the point of being the sleazy used-car salesman type, but with a sadistic, violent side.
Human Name: Aaron Doral
Introduced: Miniseries
Role: Cylon Infiltrator, Dissenter
"Number Six" is a stunning blonde who plays several key roles in Cylon society. She is the first humanoid Cylon that viewers witness in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. Stunningly beautiful, sensual and highly religious this highly driven model is marked by a ruthlessness against all who stand in her way.
"Number Eight" is one of the twelve humanoid Cylon models. She is the youngest in appearance of the eleven known models and generally associated with the name "Sharon" when interacting with humans. Eights are known for being more empathic and compassionate than the other Cylons. They also have been placed in the most pivotal missions involving Cylon-human interactions. Eights have been the Cylons with the most extensive human contact, resulting in at least two interspecies relationships (but see Galen Tyrol) and a Cylon-human hybrid child. Humans have particularly been exposed to two specific copies, Sharon "Boomer" Valerii, a "sleeper" agent who served on board Galactica, and Sharon "Athena" Agathon, a Cylon defector now appointed as a Colonial Officer.
Human Name: Sharon Valerii, Athena,
Colony: None (supposedly from the mining colony Troy)
Callsign: Boomer
Introduced: Miniseries
Parents: None (supposedly Abraham and Katherine Valerii)
Siblings: None in the traditional sense (supposedly one, per photo in "Downloaded")

Rank: Formerly lieutenant, junior grade

Children None
Marital Status: Widower, formerly married to Ellen Tigh
Role: Executive Officer, battlestar Galactica
Rank: Colonel
Name: Tory Foster
Colony: Caprica
Introduced: The Captain's Hand
Role: Presidential aide to Laura Roslin
Baltar cultist
My Long Shot Pick:Romo Lampkin
Colony: Uncertain. Known to have resided on Caprica, but possibly of Aerelon descent
Birth Name: Romo Lampkin
Introduced: The Son Also Rises
Parents: Described as "missing"
Marital Status: Previously married
Role: Public defender
Romo Lampkin is a highly capable yet ethically questionable lawyer in the Fleet. He is a kleptomaniac with penchants for deception and psychological manipulation.
Prior to the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, he worked in the public litigation office on Caprica, where he likely met and learned from Joseph Adama, a man whom he hated yet respected. His parents were kidnapped, robbed and murdered when he was nine. He was married for 10 years, and carries with him in a tote bag his late wife's cat, which he claims to dislike but appreciates that at least it does not "scratch or bite like she did"
Good Luck.
Attached to this photo were comments from Moore, who provided descriptions of each character's pose and position in the picture, while claiming that each pose is significant and holds insights into upcoming events of Season 4. From left to right:
President Roslin lights a fire: "She's burning something of importance that has to do with a plot turn midseason."
Natalie stands in commanding pose: "She assumes a leadership position for a group of Cylons [that have] a separate agenda from the rest of them."
Saul Tigh, missing eye turned towards the camera: "You might literally take that composition in terms of Tigh turning a blind eye."
The empty space at the table: "We have not yet revealed the final [unknown] Cylon." Does that mean the people already at the table aren't the final Cylon? Moore laughs. "You ferreted that out pretty slyly. I didn't really want to give that away."
Lee Adama in civilian clothes: "He does not return to flight status."
Gaius Baltar looks up to his Virtual Six, who stands in the center of the picture: "Baltar's Six has proclaimed that she is delivering the gospel of the [Cylons'] one true God, so it seems natural to place her at the center of the photo.
Kara Thrace and Samuel Anders in a sensual embrace: "[Note] that the only one embracing Starbuck is Anders."
Galen Tyrol, knife in hand, glares angrily: "The Chief does not have a pleasant time of it this season." His child with fellow grunt Cally would seem to be the second human-Cylon hybrid, and hints Moore, "one should consider the knife in his hand in that context."
Sharon and Karl Agathon cast a worried glance across the table: "The person they're looking at is definitely reacting."
Admiral Adama sits on the end of the table, as far as possible from President Roslin: "They're also turned toward each other."
*It should be noted all of this has been pretty much dismissed since, but misinformation can be fun and at times relevant*
