Tom and Jerry at it's best is a animated slapstick, like a gateway toon for the Three Stooges. At it's worst it's annoyingly simple.
I sat down with the boy (who LOVES Tom and Jerry) to see what the current incarnation was like; not too bad as it turns out.
Most the epsiodes (if not all) are spoof/homages to classic movies and TV shows. Keeps things light, fluffy, and quick paced.
Tom and Jerry have been around for so long, and considering the simple set up of Cat and Mouse it's suprising that they have endured for this long let alone can still be entertaining. If my 7 year old is any indicator T&J are still going strong. Buy It Now: Rating:
