Studio: Warner Bros. Street Date: January 8, 2008 Number of Discs: 4 MPAA Rating: Unrated Cast: Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones Running Time: 511 minutes Format: DVD Specs: Box set, Closed-captioned, Color, DVD-Video, Subtitled, Widescreen, NTSC Special Features: Featurettes: A Day in the Life of Two and a Half Men and The Serious Business of Writing Comedy Review: I know a lot of people bag on the fact that this show is high rated, and to be honest I've never given it much attention myself. But I can see why it’s popular and I can see why its become a punch line as well; It's formula TV with just enough twist of risky humor.
This is one of those shows that can run so long as Charlie Sheen doesn't age badly. The half a man can grow up, Jon Cryer can get remarried or turn gay doesn't matter. The shows charm is in the relationship between everyone and Charlie Sheens sex life.
I expected to really loathe this one, and looked forward to a ripping review...but I just can't. Oh its no masterpiece of TV but its a good watch and safe for most of the family. Color me surprised on this one.
