The M's and Deez Top Ten Best and Five Worst Films of 2007...let's get this party started!
M's The Top Ten:
10. Zodiac
Movies with no resolution at the end are tough sales, but this movie really captures the era and how obsession can really destroy a person.
9. Live Free or Die Hard
Not many franchises are more American than Die Hard...so if you don't love this up you are pretty much letting the terrorists win.
8. Beowulf
In 3D Imax is the only way to go for this one. While it certainly has some failings it was solid enough to make the list.
7. 28 Weeks Later
I love me some Zombies and yeah there aren't quite fitting the definition of "Undead" the effect is just the same. Its a gore-fest that surpasses the original.
6. Ratatouille
One of Pixars best so it goes without saying that its also one of the best films of 2007.
5. Transformers
My love of giant fucking robots is nearly as strong my love for zombies. Heaven help me if they make a zombie robot movie.
4. Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Yup a musical cracked the top ten list. Just haunted with a visionary style and music to match.
3. The Bourne Ultimatum
Not many sequels top the original, and Bourne has up'd the game each time out. The third in the series is just frantic kick ass action.
2. Hot Fuzz
One of the funniest films of the year, and this year had quite a few funny flicks. Those funny Englishmen once again show us what funny can be.
1. 300
The pitch perfect film for me this year. Its been in heavy rotation on DVD as well.
Always a big fan of the Graphic Novel I was surprised how well it translated to the big screen.
M's Bottom Five:
5. Mr. Brooks
Holy skull fucking annoying flick Batman! This movie is six shades of dumb bullshit. I love ya Dane but dude bad choice.
4. Norbit
Note to Eddie: Fat Suits are the new clown shoes. This movie made me feel bad for Scary Spice's kid.
3. Rush Hour 3
Shit in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up faster. Chris might have gotten a 20 million dollar paycheck for this but its the viewer that pays the price.
2. Redline
Only one film was worse than this and it was a close race let me tell you. This is the inbred mutant retard cousin of The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift and XxX: State of The union.
1. Epic Movie
We know its fucking stupid we measured it. If they gave crack to lobotomized monkeys and had them write a script this would be it. Its Epic crap and earned its place on top of the shit pile.
Deez's Top Ten:
10. BLACK SHEEP
The funniest Horror-Comedy since "Shaun of the Dead"- If you haven?t seen this one yet... check it out!
9. GRINDHOUSE
This movie would have rated much higher on the list had it just been "Planet Terror", but loses major points for making me sit through "Death Proof"
8. TRANSFORMERS
Giant F-ing Robots beat the crap out of each other, and looked damn cool doing it!!! Need I say more?
7. BALLS OF FURY
Another comedy that didn?t get much of an audience, but should have! I laughed my Balls (of Fury) off!!!
6. WALK HARD
Of all the Judd Apatow comedies this year, the least successful was, by far, the funniest! All you people who passes on this at the theatres.. are idiots!!!
5. 30 DAYS OF NIGHT
Finally, a vampire movie that had actual scares! (Not to mention, the ultimately hot Melissa George!)
4. SMOKIN' ACES
The rest of the critics be dammed! This movie was a kick-ass action bullet fest. F-me, but I dug it...a lot!!! (and it had Ryan Reynolds..ah..)
3. RATTATOULIE
By far Pixar's best film! ...Nuff said!
2. 300
The perfect marriage of Epic, Video-Game, and Comic movie! THIS IS.... A GREAT MOVIE!!!!
1. SWEENEY TODD
A goth musical about murderous barbers, and cannibalism! Under the perfect direction of Tim Burton, and the outstanding performances of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter, this was the perfect movie!
Deez's Bottom Five:
5. ALIEN VS PREDATOR- REQUIEM
Although it SHOULD get best trailer of the year, since it sure made me Jones to see this suck fest (But who the hell are we kidding, I'll still get it on DVD)!
4. RUSH HOUR 3
Proof that a 20-million dollar paycheck, may not be worth going back to the well!
3. WHO'S YOUR CADDY
Didn't see it, but the trailer alone warrants this movies inclusion on the list!
2. HILLS HAVE EYES 2
Just a big fat mess all around....The Lucky Ones Die First... yeah only if they died before watching this crap! (Sadly, I DID get this on DVD..I need help!)
1. REDLINE
More like RedLAME! This could very well be the biggest piece of crap ever to grace the silver screen? (seriously, I'd rather watch a Superman 5/Batman&Robin/Catwoman Marathon!!!
Well that's it "year over man!" It was a tough list to compile; We missed a few key films that I think would have landed on both these lists. Got some love or hate for the films of 2007? Set your soul free below in our comments section.
Happy New Year! M and Deez

No.2 RE: Your list is Weak
Good Question, Juno will more than likely end up on the M & Deez Best FILMS of 2007, debuting sometime during Award season! (Films are works of art, Movies are just good popcorn entertainment!!!)

No.5 WTF!!!!
Juno was the best flick of 07.... with Hot Fuzz a close second.
How is it that Juno made neither one of your lists, and Transformers made both? As a Transformers fan in my childhood i was stocked for it, but like usual Michael Bay can destroy a movie with the best of them. Transformers goes in my bottom 5.

No.6 Juno
Mostly this is due to the fact that I didn\'t have a chance to see Juno and a few other movies while we were working our butts off to put the site together. If I had Juno would have made it, as well as 3:10 To Yuma.
