Who are we? "We are the wild blue yonder. The front line in a never-ending battle between good films and not-so-good. Together with my stalwart sidekicks and the magnanimous help of some other folks I know, we form the yin to hollywood villany's malevolent yang. Destiny has chosen us. Wicker men, you face DVDeez and The Film Geekz."
Truth is we are many and few, we are you. As time rolls on you'll be meeting some of our other writers from the Film Geek bullpen, some will provide the mainstay power and some will just pop in once in awhile to amuse you and then slink back into the shadows.

While we are a seperate entity all our own we are also part of something much larger. As 2008 rolls on IESB is launching a string of new branches to its empire, take a look at the bottom of the page for links to something for pretty much everyone. Like I said "we are many and few"
The Film Geekz/DVDeez combo portion of this equation is pretty simple; the world of film, DVD, and geeks. We'll cover everything from reviews and rants, goofball stuff just for a laugh, indie stuff, contests, comics and toys to new hardware and gadgets.
If it's got something to do with the world of Film we'll try our best and tackle it.
It's a big sandbox and we plan to get dirty.
They say mathmatics is the universal languge, and that anyone can be moved by some piece of music. The art of film is no different; it can make you laugh when you are sad, inspire you, smash your senses,educate you, scare you, bring back a sense of wonder, comfort you when you are sick, make you horny, make you cry even though you are happy, make you want to dance, root for the underdog, or even cheer for the villain.
With a grain of luck and a slice of talent I'm hoping Film Geekz and DVDeez can help you find those films and possibly avoid a few land mines as well.
