Synopsis: In the tradition of such milestone musical biographies as Ray, Walk the Line, and Selena comes Walk Hard, the up-and-down-and-up-again struggle of legendary musician Dewey Cox (Academy Award® nominee JOHN C. REILLY) as he rises from the poverty of a hardscrabble Alabama farm to conquer the world of popular music through a rollercoaster career that spans seven decades. Along the way to superstardom, Dewey acquires all the trappings of fame and fortune - multiple wives, eleven kids, several mansions, his own '70s TV show, and a chimp - only to blindly trample them all on his relentless journey to the top. During a life that includes losing his sense of smell after a tragic childhood accident, conquering the music industry and carousing with celebrities from Elvis to The Beatles, even the love of a good woman - longtime back-up singer Darlene Madison (JENNA FISCHER, "The Office") - isn't enough to stop the rock n' roll spiral of drugs, prison, and rehab (lots of rehab) that marks Dewey's pursuit of writing classic songs that will change a nation at least once.

M: Hey Deez, what are doin?

Deez: Man, I'm watching this movie "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story"- but you don't want to see none of this!!!!

M: Why? Does it suck?

Deez: Suck?? No, man It's off the freaken chain!! It's one of the best comedies this year! It's Judd Apatow, man! He's a freaken comic genius! But, I'm telling you... you don't want to see none of this!!

M: What, is it not funny?

Deez: It's HILARIOUS!!! I didn't stop laughing the entire 2 hours! It's a perfect Spomage (Spoof and Homage in one) of all those damn Academy Award-bait bio-pics of famous musicians! John C. Reilly is the shiznit as Dewey Cox- classic Rock-n-Roll, Folk, County, Jazz, progressive, and disco legend! Jenna Fischer is just darling as his singing partner/love of his life, Darlene- I'd marry her too even though I'm already married (Is that illegal?) The jokes and spoofs will have you doubled over, you'll get a cramp from laughing so hard... BUT YOU SHOULDN'T SEE IT, M- I'M TELLING YOU!!!

M: Does it have anyone else in the move?

Deez: Only every funny actor working today and then some! Tim Meadows (the funniest he's ever been!), David Krumholtz, Harold Ramis, Ed Helms, Paul Rudd, Jason Schwartzman, Justin Long, Kristen Wiig, Frankie Munitz, Jacks (Both White and Black), Jason Biggs, Chris Parnell, Ghostface Killah, Jewel, Lyle Lovett, Jackson Browne, and Eddie F-ing, Vedder!!! This movie is STACKED with hilarious cameos! Each of them have their own scene-stealing moments! (Jack White- "The White Stripes", just aced playing Elvis!!!)
But, for your own good, M- I'm telling you... DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

M: Don't see it? It's probably because the music sucks, isn't it...

Deez: The Music is awesome! I ran out and downloaded the soundtrack off iTunes as soon as I finished the movie! Great music with some hilarious lyrics. They really nailed the music and spirit of every artist and genre they were spoofing! (Especially the Duet song and the tight track about Midgets!!!!) You will be singing this shit in the shower, I guarantee! But Seriously, You... should...not... see ... this.. movie!!!

M: Let me guess, no nudity?

Deez: Man there are tits and ass all over the screen is some parts! (There's even some "Cox" for the ladies!) And, even though she doesn't get naked, Jeanna Fischer is Hot as Hell!!!! But for the last time, THIS IS NOT A MOVIE YOU WANT SEE!!!!!

M: It kinda sounds like it is.... I really want to see it!

Deez: Well, in that case, get your ass to the nearest theater this Friday (December 21)!!! This movie, Walk Hard, ROCKS HARD!!!!!
