Here is an update on Species III sent in by Filmmaven:
I'm not sure if this ever surfaced on the net, I didn't even know they were working on a third in the series, but Species III is underway.I did one nite's extra work on the direct-to-video movie. The film picks up right where Species II ended, uh just how did that one end...don't plan on renting it to refresh my memory. Anyway, the scene we worked on was a bunch of military investigating more extraterrestrial activity.
I don't know who stars but I believe someone mentioned Natasha Henstridge has a cameo. Spoiler Alert!!! Another alien shows up and kills her, however she apparently has an offspring and she's on the loose. I think that more aliens are coming.
From what I was told, they hope to use this as a springboard for a planned tv series. I'm guessing we're looking at Sci-Fi or USA.
