Earlier today I spoke with K.K. Downing, one of the founding members and lead guitarist of Judas Priest. We spoke mostly of the new album "Nostradamus" and the current "Metal Masters Tour" with Motorhead, Heaven and Hell and Testament.

The new concept album "Nostradamus" is a 2 disc 23 track anthology of the life and times of 16th century prophet Nostradamus. The album chronicles Nostradamus' life as an alchemist, as well as his rise to power and the prophecies he foresaw. This album is unlike any other Priest album you have heard in the past, but it is without a doubt 100% Judas. Bringing in orchestral elements in order to build the volume of Nostradamus, was a first for Judas Priest, but this album wouldnt be the same without. Talking with Downing, he eludes to the possibility of a full "Nostradamus" tour where they might play the album in its entirety.
