TOTIMOSHI
MILAGROSA has an apathetic, lulling quality reminiscent of the forgotten 90s rock bands that once plagued MTV (when MTV actually played music). Aguilar?s guitar playing is impressive at times, drawing heavily from classic rock influences and adding the angst and frustration of someone who lived through the grunge era. The driving percussion of Chris Fugitt, also gives MILAGROSA a much richer, fuller sound then previous Totimoshi releases. Combined the trio creates a somewhat disillusioned and fatalistic world that struggles to understand the balance between love, hate, and existence. It's music that suburban kids put on when they are slightly depressed and looking to feel something, while getting stoned alone in their room.
