A couple weeks back the team at Audio Frequency had the chance to chat it up with Mae singer Dave Elkins right before their show at The HOB Anaheim.
 

Luckily we had some time to relax a little before our interview so we weren't out of breath as the case with MCS. During our time with Dave we learned about the formation of Mae, the secret behind its name, and all about the latest tour with Motion City Soundtrack.

Mae has been touring and rocking the stages consistently for around 6 years now and their new release on Capitol Records "Singularity" has been topping charts left and right and is a definite favorite amongst the high school pop army. Currently out touring Japan with Motion City Soundtrack Mae will be returning to the states in the Spring and you can be sure to see them during the Summer festivals!
